Creating Your Triggers

Add chat triggers like questions, links, or media to spark conversations and boost user interaction instantly.

The Triggers tab is where you add the questions or actions that will appear in the center of your chat.

These triggers serve as starting points for conversation, piquing the visitor's curiosity and inviting them to interact. You can create custom buttons with:

  • Questions
  • External links
  • Spotify songs
  • YouTube videos

Triggers are essential to the success of your chat, as they help break the ice and encourage interaction in the first few seconds. Think of them as the first "hello" of your chat.

Tip: Create trigger buttons that make sense to your audience. Direct, curious, or creative questions work very well!

And if the user doesn't want to click on any of the buttons, that's fine — they can simply type their question or message into the chat.

Testing chat content and learning

With the trigger questions defined, you can now share your chat.

Before doing so, we recommend testing how it is responding.

To do this, use Playground — an environment created especially for you to experiment with your chat's knowledge and communication without consuming your plan's messages.

A detailed explanation of Playground will be provided in the next section of the documentation:
