Once your chat has been created, you will be taken to the Overview page, which will likely be empty and contain no data, since your chat has not yet been fed with information or shared.
To add files, text, and links, go to the Sources tab. There, you can feed your chat with the information it will use to respond to your users accurately and with context. Everything added here will be considered your chat's knowledge base.

What you can add:
- Files: PDFs, Word, Excel, images, etc.
- Texts: any copied and pasted content.
- Links: web pages with relevant content.
- Audio: Upload audio files and extract their content.
- YouTube videos (coming soon): add YouTube videos.
- Social media videos (coming soon): use videos from Instagram, TikTok, or others.
Batch Mode
Batch Mode can be found by clicking + Add in the Sources tab when adding a new source.
This mode works like a real digital envelope, allowing you to send multiple files in different formats — such as PDFs, links, texts, and videos — at once, without having to upload them individually in each tab.
Once processing is complete, you will receive an email confirming that all files have been sent and trained, as well as a notification if any errors occurred during the process.
Step-by-step guide to using the Sources tab:
1. Select the type of file you want to add
After accessing your chat and selecting the Sources tab in the top menu, click the + Add button and choose which type of file you want to add to your knowledge base. These are:
- Files: Click on Files to upload documents.
- Texts: Copy and paste the desired content.
- Links: Paste links from reliable websites. Attlas will extract the content from the page to train the chat.
- Audio: Add audio files. Attlas transcribes and transforms them into knowledge for your chat.
- Youtube video (coming soon): Paste links to the YouTube videos you want. Attlas transcribes everything and adds the content to your knowledge base.
- Social media video (coming soon): Paste links to videos from your favorite social media sites. Attlas transcribes and turns everything into knowledge for your chat.
2. View everything in the All tab
The All tab shows all added content, organized by type. You can filter by category or search by name.
3. Monitor the use of the character limit
In the right corner of the screen, you will see a character counter (ex: 189,456 / 200,000).
If you need more space, we offer flexible resource packages.
4. Train your chat
After adding everything you want, Attlas will train your chat automatically!
5. Track the status of your files
Below the upload area, you will see the files you have added, each with a colored tag indicating its status:
- 🟩 Trained → The content has already been processed and is being used.
- 🟦 New → It has been added but is still being processed.
- 🟥 Error → There was a failure in processing (try reloading the file).
Let your chat get to know you better!
After uploading your sources, it's time to let your chat learn more about you or your business!
