At Attlas, we use a system of archetypes—the same identity concepts we see in branding manuals for major brands and individuals. For us, they are ideal for defining the chat's personality, ensuring a consistent, engaging tone of voice that is aligned with the creator.
In each chat, users can choose from 12 archetypes, each configured based on five main dimensions:
- Characteristic
- Conversation style
- Level of detail
- Personality
- Humor
These dimensions unfold into options that define chat behavior, such as:

As you can see from the examples, even small changes between archetypes transform the way the chat communicates.
An important point is that although the 12 archetypes come with predefined settings, you can adjust them at any time and see how the chat reacts in real time.
For example: if you choose the Ruler archetype and change all of its default settings, the result will be a totally different personality, but still consistent with your initial choice.

In total, there are 1,296 possible personality combinations. However, rather than exploring them all, we recommend adjusting the settings so that they are aligned with the experience and communication style you want to offer.
